Junebum Park

Park's videos bring into sharp focus the methodical and routine activities of everyday life, from walking down the street to parking a car, lending them a sense of humour and play. By distorting the natural scale of things and using sharp camera angles, Park shows us a world in which life is abstracted into a set of movements organised into a pattern or a game. Park's Puzzle series further explores these behavioural systems by involving a life-size board game and set of puzzles, which participants must solve using a series of calculated movements.
