Families Create: Half Term Special

For our Families Create: Half Term Special, we have teamed up with The House of Fairy Tales for a unique workshop led by artist Ian Dawson. This ‘Art in the Dark’ workshop is inspired by the images, colours and stories of our current shows. Painting with light and shadow, those taking part create an immersive installation, transforming the library space. Using old technologies, such as OHPs and slide projectors, the workshop is a tactile, playful creative process for participants to engage with light and moving image.

For ages 5+, there must be no more than three children per one accompanying adult. Unlike our regular drop-in workshop, we encourage families to stay for the duration of this event.
