The Camden Cookout auction and dinner in support of Camden Art Centre’s exhibition and education programme’s was a humungous success! Everybody contributed in the best way they could. The generosity moved me and it was a pleasure to be hosting this incredible dinner. Here’s Martin Clark the new Director presenting me with flowers

Haim Steinbach’s show ‘jaws’ at White Cube was poetic and delightful

Downstairs Steinbach had created ‘Display #15 – Design for a Yogurt Bar’, 1981/2017 which was suggesting the rise of the frozen yoghurt bar in the 1980s and its cultural transition from middle-eastern food staple to widely consumed product

This week’s highlight for me was visiting ‘Natural Selection’ by Andy Holden and his father Peter at the former Newington Library in association with Artangel. ‘A Natural History of Nest Building’, 2017 was a wonderful investigation into various nest building methods

‘Opposite of Time’, 2017 features Andy as a talking crow discussing the history of nest collecting and sheds light on how the practice changes in a legal landscape

At Modern Art’s new space, Wilkinson Gallery’s old space, Josh Kline had his solo show called ‘Civil War’. I was a little disappointed as I felt it was an extension of his 47 Canal show addressing the same socio-political subjects. However, I loved the abandoned concrete teddy bear work
