Frieze Week 2010 - Saturday

16 October 2010

Another heroic visit to Frieze and as always a few surprises. Jessica Dickenson had been voted number one of the top ten in Evening Standard and was mentioned in page 10 of the Financial Times along with Will Daniels. Page one of the Art Newspaper showed Marine Hugonnier who, after a lot of badgering from Max, I made a huge commitment to last year. I also noticed that collectors had finally had discovered Mustafa Hulusi - I am so happy for him.

Frieze Week 2010 - Saturday
From Hereld Street - whose booth, much to Ash and Nicky’s dismay, became our art fair hang out - I acquired a fantastic outdoor sculpture by Nicole Wermers, my friend Jill also commissioned one for her home in NY.Overall Frieze week was really busy and successful. The auctions also had been quite good as not to my surprise Ged Quinn was a big hit. Next stop Paris…
